September 25 2012

Hey everyone!

Things are still great in Brasil! Thursday was the day that Rio Grande do Sul comemmorates the day that they tried to win independence, and they were supposed to have a parade here in Rio Pardo, but it was too cold that day, so they moved it to Sunday. I wasn´t expecting the parade to be so big!  This tiny litte city in the middle of nowhere had a massive celebration for this. There were more horses in this parade then I have ever seen anywhere else in my life. It was really cool! Everybody in the entire town was dressed like gaúchos.

Other than that, transfers are coming up this week. Time is moving way to fast. It does not seem like I have been here in Brasil for almost 3 months now. On top of that, on the 28th, I will have been on my mission for 6 months already. I don´t know if I´m going to be transfered yet. I will find out next Monday morning when I send my emails. If I am being transfered, I won´t know where I am going untill the tansfer meeting at the bus station in Porto Alegre. Transfers are always stressful. You never know what´s going to happen until it happens. Oh well.

Thanks for everything guys!

Sincerely,
Elder Day
