Things are going really well here. Not a whole ton happened this week. On the 6th, Brasil celebrated it´s independence, so that was cool. Two people made us Churrasco, which is a type of barbeque that the people make here in Rio Grande do Sul, and it is really good. They take a ton of beef and chicken, and the roast it on a spit. It´s awesome. They really love eating beef down here in the south. I don´t think I´ve gone two days in a row without eating some kind of beef.
I am really excited for the 20th. It´s a holliday for Rio Grande do Sul. It´s called dia do gaúcho. They celebrate the day that they tried to seceed from the rest of Brasil. They lost the war, but they still celebrate it. It´s awesome. The people here have a ton of pride in their state. They are like the South Carolina of Brasil. It´s the best.
I gots to go!
Sincerely,
Elder Day
