October 22 2012

Hey everyone!

Things are still great in Brasil! I´ve really been embracing this gaúcho stuff. One of the coolest things that they have is called chimarrão (sheem-a-how.) It´s a ground up and dried plant that they drink with hot water from a squash thing called a cuia. It looks really weird, but it´s awesome. I would like to see what happened when chimmarrão was invented. I´m pretty sure that some random gaúcho just looked at a random plant, and said, "I bet I can drink that." No matter how it was invented, it´s awesome. They also have really awesome barbeque here called churrasco, (Shoe-haw-sco) and it´s awesome. They cook it by roasting the meat on spits. They don´t really eat any weird food here, but I did eat a bunch of churrascoed chicken hearts the other night. They tasted really good too.

I hope all of you guys are still doing great, I am!

Sincerely,
Elder Day
